Technical features

NikolaTesla Unplugged is controlled by knobs, with an analogue touch, to access functions quickly and intuitively. All elements are integrated in a strong characterful aesthetic, designed to intelligently separate the cooking zone from the control zone. An elegant impact bulkhead protects the control zone from any possible contact with cookware and unpleasant spills.

Strong knobs give Nikolatesla Unplugged professional character, robustness and quality. Their perfect grip texture covers an extremely stable internal structure, while the magnetic release of the aesthetic cover makes maintenance easy and accurate. Linearity and easy cleaning of the hob are also guaranteed by the central glass door, which conceals the suction area and only activates it when necessary.

NikolaTesla Unplugged is equipped with three automatic cooking functions: Unplugging, thanks to which it is no longer necessary to stir the food to prevent the bottom of the pan from burning in case of delicate preparations, Heating, which guarantees the right level of heat for cooking such as creams or sauces and helps to keep ready dishes hot, and Simmering, which prevents water from escaping during boiling for more lively preparations. The presence of two Bridge zones makes it possible to prepare dishes that require the use of large pans by joining two adjacent cooking zones and ensuring even cooking over the entire surface.Thanks to the Autocapture function NikolaTesla Unplugged automatically sets the most suitable air extraction power, gradually adjusting and decreasing it to eliminate residual odours at the end of cooking. The powerful suction system positioned in the centre of the hob guarantees a high level of smoke capture, significantly higher than the speed at which it rises. At maximum suction, the Comfort Silence technology ensures minimal noise disturbance levels, preserving the pleasure of a good conversation even while cooking.
