The product fulfils the requirements of the needle flame test (according to IEC 60335-1), the V2 flammability class (according to UL94) and the B1 building material class for flame-retardant materials (according to DIN 4102-1). The Z821UD0 accessory for unguided recirculation operation fulfils these requirements. Provisions also
The maximum immersion depth is 223mm under glass for top-mounted units and 227mm for units suitable for flush mounting.
The unit must remain freely accessible from below
No intermediate shelf is required under the appliance. The drawers must be removable. The rear panel can be left in place - only a cut-out for the air outlet (position and size can be taken from the installation instructions) is required.
The "Plug 'n Play" Starter Set Z821UD0 (unguided recirculation operation) requires a vertical backflow opening of min. 25mm behind the furniture rear wall - recommendation: 50mm.
The minimum worktop thickness is 16mm for top-mounted and flush-mounted units with the Standard installation system. Installation in thinner worktops is also possible with the spare part: Content area 626792
The total unit weight is 26kg. The load-bearing capacity and stability, especially with thin worktops, must be ensured by suitable substructures. The appliance weight (including corresponding weights such as filled pots) and the worktop manufacturer's specifications for structural integrity must be observed.
The "Plug 'n Play" Starter Set Z821UD0 (unguided recirculation operation) enables simple and quick installations in worktop depths ≥60cm. For installations with extract configuration (Z811DU0) and in fully or partially ducted recirculation configuration (Z821PD0) - a worktop depth of ≥70cm is required.
For all partially and unguided recirculation plans, an air return opening of ≥400cm² is required in the plinth area. The opening can be realised via outlet grilles, louvred grilles or slightly shortened plinths, depending on the kitchen furniture manufacturer's range.
The air outlet on the rear of the unit can be combined directly with a flat duct element (NW 150).
Pipework up to 8m with three 90° bends is possible
When installing an air duct in exhaust air mode and a chimney-bound fireplace, the power supply line must be provided with a suitable safety cut-out.
In exhaust air mode, a backflow damper with a maximum opening pressure of 65Pa should be installed.
